About

It's tempting to define Ted Ofner by his juxtapositions. Raised on a steady diet of old-school memes and postmodern epics, Ted's sensibilities have often been startling, provocative, and utterly relatable, all at once.

Deftly weaving between grave solemnity and utter irreverence, this poet turned mathematician (or was it the other way around?) evades clear categorization. His storytelling is as much grandiose tales of lost love as it is acerbic sound bites and calculated jargon. With a nuanced understanding of language, jazz scales, and the deep catharsis of power tools run through distortion pedals, Ted Ofner puts forth tremendous effort to chisel away reality and reveal Truth with whichever tools he can grasp.
